If you have seborrheic dermatitis, EXTINA® Foam may help
EXTINA® Foam is a medication that contains ketoconazole, a widely used treatment for seborrheic dermatitis, delivered in foam formulation.
EXTINA® Foam is for the topical treatment of seborrheic dermatitis in patients 12 years of age and older.
In a clinical study, EXTINA® Foam was proven to help clear seborrheic dermatitis in 4 weeks. A majority of patients (56%; 239 of 427) with mild
to severe seborrheic dermatitis achieved treatment success with twice-daily application of EXTINA® Foam.
In comparison, only 42% (176 of 420) of patients
given foam vehicle achieved treatment success.1
EXTINA® Foam is an ideal treatment for use on the scalp, body, and face.1,2*
It is easy to use and can be applied on wet or dry skin, and on hairy and nonhairy areas.2
Apply EXTINA® Foam exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
EXTINA® Foam is the only ketoconazole treatment for seborrheic dermatitis available in a foam formulation—and patients preferred foam in a post-study survey2

In a post-study survey, 95% of patients (N=1162) who had used EXTINA® Foam reported that, based on their experience with foams and other vehicle types, they would be more likely to stick with a 4-week, twice-daily foam formulation treatment versus shampoos, gels, creams, or ointments.2

In the same clinical study mentioned above, patients reported that EXTINA® Foam also helped to relieve pruritus (itching), a symptom commonly associated with seborrheic dermatitis.1
*For use on the skin. Do not use in the eyes, mouth, or vagina.
