Seborrheic dermatitis—a common skin condition
Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition that affects the scalp, body, and face, causing red, flaky, greasy-looking skin.
A mild form of seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp is commonly known as dandruff.
Seborrheic dermatitis can develop at any age1
Seborrheic dermatitis is slightly more common in males than in females and can appear at any age, occurring most frequently
in teenagers and young adults and also in adults aged 50 years and older. There is no cure for seborrheic dermatitis, and symptoms may improve—or even
disappear for periods of time—and then reappear throughout adulthood.

EXTINA® (ketoconazole) Foam, 2% is used on the skin (topical) to treat a skin condition called
seborrheic dermatitis in patients 12 years of age and older.
The most common side effects of EXTINA® Foam observed in clinical studies (incidence greater than 1%) included application site
burning (10%) and application site reaction (6%).
EXTINA® Foam may result in contact sensitization, including an allergic reaction that occurs only following sun exposure.
Apply EXTINA® Foam exactly as prescribed. Talk to your doctor if your skin does not improve after 4 weeks of treatment.
For use on the skin. Do not use in the eyes, mouth, or vagina.
Keep the EXTINA® Foam can away from and do not spray it near fire, open flame, or direct heat. EXTINA® Foam is flammable.
